What Would President Ford Do?

The misery continues for George W Bush. He can't buy a break on the Iraq war. Even former Republican President Gerald Ford (who died Tuesday, December 26) says in a recent interview that he would not have invaded Iraq based on the 'evidence' presented.

"I don't think, if I had been president -- on the basis of the facts as I saw them publicly -- I don't think I would have ordered the Iraqi war," Ford said in a part of the interview broadcast on CNN's "Larry King Live" Wednesday.

"I would have maximized our efforts through sanctions, through restrictions, whatever, to find another answer," the former president said.

Why can't the current President get it? No one wants us in Iraq. Saddam had nothing whatsoever to do with 9/11.

Meanwhile, US troops are still in harm's way in a country where they do not need to be. The White House (in its infinite wisdom) is calling for even more troop deployment to Iraq.

This is insanity defined.

BRING THEM HOME NOW!

Think Racism in America is Getting Better? Think Again.

We've all seen the recent Michael Richards 'Kramer' racist rant (for which he has attempted several apologies....sincere or not, you decide).

Racism in its deepest form still exists across this country. In Lauderdale County, Mississippi read about the actions and words of a County Supervisor who has been reelected multiple times over the years by loyal constituents.

In his latest tirade, he was caught on tape (just as Richards was). Seems the dilligent and concerned political leader was working 'deep undercover' at a local strip bar.

The events caught on tape occurred less than one week after Hurricane Katrina blew through the area. Many County residents were without power and water while the Supervisor was conducting his 'investigation'.

Don't Get Too Excited Republicans. He's not dead yet.

40 years ago an ill South Dakota lawmaker kept his seat.
Try again Repubs!!! I'm sure you have an alternative plan in the works to regain control without actually being elected by the people.
BTW, here's wishing Senator Johnson a quick recovery.
