We've all seen the recent Michael Richards 'Kramer' racist rant (for which he has attempted several apologies....sincere or not, you decide).
Racism in its deepest form still exists across this country. In Lauderdale County, Mississippi read about the actions and words of a County Supervisor who has been reelected multiple times over the years by loyal constituents.
In his latest tirade, he was caught on tape (just as Richards was). Seems the dilligent and concerned political leader was working 'deep undercover' at a local strip bar.
The events caught on tape occurred less than one week after Hurricane Katrina blew through the area. Many County residents were without power and water while the Supervisor was conducting his 'investigation'.

And I don't know what to do to get rid of racism. Even I know I'm a racist although I try hard not to be. What is it? Why do we have those feelings about others who are different? I have fought the good fight for equal rights, etc., but deep down I'm still a racist. Why?
