Lawmakers to Work a 5 Day Work Week! Oh the injustice!

'...Under GOP leadership, the House fell into a pattern where no votes were scheduled until 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday and the last votes were on Thursday afternoon. That way, lawmakers could leave the Capitol on Thursday evening and not return until the following Tuesday.

...According to the office of House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-Md, the House was in session 102 days last year, fewer than the 110 days of the "do-nothing" Congress when Harry S. Truman was president in 1948.'

How about you? Will you work 5 days per week in 2007? Many are working 7 days per week in this 'booming' economy thanks to the Republicans. Many are not working at all thanks to corporate outsourcing and continual layoffs.

I think I will adopt a similar plan in my business. This will improve profits and ensure stock holder satisfaction. That's the ticket!

Seems the old democrats are making a huge headway into taking care of business and the first is a five day work week.

I think it's a hoot to hear the repubs falls all over themselves when this issue is brought up.
